I am 1 month old today!

It is hard to believe that little Libby Jane has been here a month already. Time sure does fly. We are all doing great, I am adjusting to her nightly schedule and it is getting easier...Jeremy is a pro with her and Hagan thinks she has been here all this time.

Here are some pictures of our at home photo shoot the other day, she is becoming quite photogenic...
Hello World...

The name is Libby, but you can call me Cheeks...

My mom is the funniest person I know, and trust me I know a lot of people...

The title of this literary masterpiece is, This Little Piggy Went to Prada

Don't know who this girl is...all I know is, her hair is awesome....

You talkin' to me?

Libby's favorite guy...

With our new lifestyle these days (eating sleeping & pooping) we are very happy when Dad comes home from work. It puts a smile on all of our faces to see that truck pull in the driveway...especially Hagan.
Believe it or not, I also fit on the couch with the rest of the crew pictured

And - Hagan loves Libby too. The transition for him has been fairly easy, his life hasn't changed too much and I think he likes me being home more than usual.

While Libby is taking a nap, somewhere other than on me (a rare event) I have a few minutes to blog about the past few weeks.
We have had two fun filled weeks with Jane, Julia and Maggie. Libby misses them already and was very sad to see them go...we are looking forward to seeing them at Thanksgiving this year. Here are a few pictures that we took over the past two weeks...

All the "Booth" girls at Mimie & Pop's house

Julia and her favorite uncle, Russell...

Julia, Livvy (as Julia calls her) and Jane - Julia could not get over the amount of hair on Livvy's head.

Julia and her second favorite uncle, JJ - she was helping get rid of Livvy's hiccups

Jules & JJ

Libby & I and her first trip to the park - she could barely stand the excitement

All she needs is a warm body & she is out like a light...

Libby had her eyes on Austin, but it looks like Maggie beat her to him-

All my rowdy friends are coming over tonight...

Well, Libby has been here 3 weeks and counting and she has captured the title of most popular at our house. We have had so many family and friends stop by to see her...we have been quite social for having her here a such a short time. We really appreciate all of the visits, dinners, and gifts...this child has more clothes than ever...but since we change outfits 3 times a day (on average) they have come in very handy. Sorry about the delay for the post, but I have discovered how time consuming a newborn is and I am quickly learning to do more and more with one hand and appreciating my mom more through this great experience of motherhood.

Lots of Firsts...

Today we were brave and decided to give Libby her first sponge bath, after watching the nurse do this in the hospital we were aware of the results, a very clean but very unhappy baby.

Another first happened for us today too, we decided to have our first outing. Libby and I had a case of cabin fever and just wanted to get out for a little while during the short time span between feedings. We went to few places nowhere special...we were really making up things to do that would not take long and we could make a quick exit if we needed to. We also went to eat lunch at Bogies Deli, Jeremy was a little apprehensive about this, but Libby proved him wrong and was quiet as a mouse and very cooperative. Needless to say, it was good to get out, but it wore us all out and I think I will be staying in for the next few days - especially with this awful heat...

Libby Jane - looking so peaceful before her bath

During bath - not so peaceful

Aftermath of the bath - the girl clearly appreciates a good scrubbing

This is my best Popeye expression

Again - Popeye the sailor man...

Snoozin'

Outside with my Mom

Asleep in the swing - mom and dad got a great deal on this blanket from the generous staff at Baptist - its the official swaddle blanket...

Let the Photo shoot begin!

We have only been home about 48 hours and life has just seemed to settle into place. I was nervous about the thought of bringing a baby home to our crowded, noisy house, but somehow it just made our house feel even better now that Libby is here. So far she loves the place and sleeps right through Hagan barking and all the other activity (except for a meal) The girl is not going to miss a meal, she is like clockwork when it comes to eating...
Here are a few pics to share...

Jeremy and Libby - they went to the same salon this morning
Okay, I am all ready, can't move a muscle - feeling pretty secure in this car seat...much like a strait jacket...notice all of my hospital bling...

Just chillin with my homies in my bouncy seat...

Yes Dad, I promise I am not going to date until I am 25 - boys...yuck

Hanging out with Mr. Lamb - he's my fave...
